Privacy Policy

Who we are

Sokuri ("we", "us") is a link-saving service operated by Chimera Studio. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. It applies to the Sokuri website and mobile apps.

Data we collect

We only collect what the service needs to work:

Account information. When you sign in with Google, Kakao, or an email link, we receive your email address and, for social sign-in, your nickname and profile image. We never see or store your passwords.

Your content. The links you save, along with their titles, thumbnails, memos, folders, and tags. When you save a link, our server fetches the page's public title and thumbnail to fill in the card.

Basic technical data. Standard logs (such as IP address and browser type) generated when you use the service, used only to keep it running and secure.

Files you upload

You can attach files such as photos, screenshots and PDFs. They are stored privately in our storage provider (Supabase) under your account and are only accessible to you — and to members of a shared folder if you save a file into one — through short-lived signed links. We do not scan or use the contents of your files for any other purpose. Storage is limited by plan (100MB on the free plan, 5GB on Standard). Deleting a file card removes the file from storage.

AI connections (MCP)

You can let an AI assistant (such as Claude) access your own Sokuri through a personal connection token that you create in Settings. We store only a one-way hash of the token — the token itself is shown to you once and never stored. Tokens expire after 90 days and can be revoked at any time. When a connected AI saves, searches or organizes on your behalf, we keep an activity record (which tool was used, when, and whether it succeeded — never the content or URLs) so you can review it in Settings. A connected AI can only read and add to your own library; it cannot delete anything or change your account.

AI features

If you use the optional AI auto-organize button, the URL and title of the link you are saving are sent to Google's Gemini API to suggest a folder and tags. Only that link's information is sent — never your whole library — and it is not used by us to train any AI model.

Sharing features

Links stay private by default. If you make a folder public or invite members to a shared folder, the links inside that folder (and its subfolders) become visible to the people you shared it with. You can stop sharing at any time.

Advertising

The free plan shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may process device information such as identifiers, IP address, and general location, under Google's privacy policy. We do not give AdMob your account details or saved links. Upgrading to the Standard plan removes all ads.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed through your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). Payment is handled entirely by the store — we never see or store your card number. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and keep your subscription status in sync with your account; it receives purchase receipts and your account ID, not your payment details. You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in your store account settings, and refunds follow the store's policies. Sokuri Standard is offered as a monthly or a yearly auto-renewing subscription; the yearly plan is billed once per year and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Where data is stored and who we share it with

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and the service is hosted on Vercel. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers above, which process it only on our behalf.

Your rights

You can export your links as a CSV file at any time from within the app. You can delete individual links, folders, and tags yourself. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

Children

Sokuri is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of Sokuri after a change means you accept the updated policy.
