Terms of Service

Effective: October 15, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

  1. These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of Chimera Studio ("the Company", "we") and its members, and other necessary matters, in connection with the use of Sokuri, the link and note saving service the Company provides through the website sokuri.app and the iOS and Android apps ("the Service").
  2. Matters concerning the handling of members' personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Member" means a person who agrees to these Terms, creates an account and uses the Service.
  2. "Content" means the links, notes, files, folders and tags a member saves to the Service, and any other information a member enters or uploads.
  3. "Paid Service" means the subscription product "Sokuri Standard" that members use in exchange for a fee.
  4. "Store" means the Apple App Store and Google Play, which handle payment and subscription management for the Paid Service.

Article 3 (Posting and amending the Terms)

  1. The Company posts these Terms within the Service (Settings → About) and on this page (sokuri.app/terms).
  2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. When amending, the Company states the effective date and the reason and announces the change by in-app notification or on this page at least 7 days before the effective date. Changes that are unfavorable to members or otherwise material are announced at least 30 days in advance and are also notified by in-app notification or email.
  3. A member who does not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the Service and withdraw under Article 5. A member who does not expressly object by the effective date and continues to use the Service is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 4 (The Service)

  1. Free plan: saving links and notes, organizing with folders and tags, AI auto-organize, shared folders, AI connections (such as Claude), and 100MB of file storage (25MB per file). Ads may be shown on free-plan screens.
  2. Sokuri Standard (Paid Service): removes ads and provides 5GB of file storage (25MB per file). All other features are the same as the free plan.
  3. The Service is in principle provided 24 hours a day, every day of the year, but may be changed or suspended under Article 10.

Article 5 (Sign-up and withdrawal)

  1. You can sign up with social login (Google, Kakao, Apple) or email. You become a member when you complete sign-up and agree to these Terms.
  2. If you live in the Republic of Korea you must be at least 14 years old to use Sokuri; elsewhere, at least 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below these ages.
  3. A member may withdraw at any time, with immediate effect, from Settings → Delete account in the app or on the web. What is deleted immediately and what is kept for a limited time is described in the Delete your account section of the Privacy Policy.
  4. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription with the Store. If you are using the Paid Service, cancel the subscription with the Store first as described in Article 6.

Article 6 (Paid Service)

  1. The Paid Service can only be purchased through in-app purchase on the App Store or Google Play, and payment, receipts and subscription management are handled by the respective Store. The Company does not receive your payment details.
  2. The price is the amount shown on the Store's payment screen and may differ by country and currency. Whether taxes such as VAT are included is as indicated by the Store.
  3. Sokuri Standard is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Unless you cancel, it renews automatically on the same terms 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the fee is charged to the payment method registered with the Store.
  4. Cancel through the Store's subscription management. iPhone: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. After cancelling, you can keep using the Paid Service until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  5. Refunds follow the refund policy and procedure of the respective Store. If a member asks, the Company will also help with the refund process within the Store's procedure.
  6. Members may withdraw their offer (cancel the purchase) under Article 17 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. of the Republic of Korea. However, because the Paid Service is digital content, the right of withdrawal may be limited under Article 17(2) of the same Act once provision has begun, and the Company indicates this on the payment screen or elsewhere. Where the law so provides, for example where the service provided differs from what was displayed or advertised or from the contract, you may withdraw without such limitation.

Article 7 (Member obligations)

  1. Members must not:
    • save or share content that violates the law or infringes the rights of others, such as copyright, publicity rights or personal information;
    • harass or insult other members in a shared folder, or repeatedly save spam or advertising content;
    • share or transfer an account to another person;
    • collect data from the Service in bulk by automated means, or interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
  2. Members must keep their account information secure and are responsible for activity carried out through their account.
  3. If a member breaches paragraph 1, the Company may delete the content or remove it from the shared folder, restrict use of the Service, or suspend or terminate the account. The Company informs the member of the reason, but may act first in urgent cases.

Article 8 (Rights in content)

  1. Rights in the links, notes, files and other content a member saves belong to the member. The Company does not own the content or use it for any other purpose.
  2. The Company processes content only to the extent needed to provide the Service (storage, display, fetching titles and thumbnails, AI auto-organize, display to members of a shared folder, backups), and members grant the Company the license needed for this.
  3. Content saved into a shared folder is visible to that folder's members, and content set as a public folder or public profile can be seen by anyone with the address. Members can stop sharing or publishing at any time.
  4. Members must hold the rights needed to save or share the content they add.

Article 9 (AI features)

  1. AI features such as auto-classification and title and tag suggestions generate their results using an external AI service (Google Gemini). AI results may be inaccurate or unsuitable, and members can edit or undo them at any time.
  2. When an AI feature is used, only the minimum information needed for organizing, such as the address and title of that link, is sent to the external AI service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  3. If a member creates an AI connection (MCP) in Settings and connects an external AI such as Claude, that AI can read and save to the member's Sokuri within the scope the member allowed. Use of the external AI service is subject to that service's own terms.

Article 10 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)

  1. The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. Material changes unfavorable to members are announced in advance as described in Article 3.
  2. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for system maintenance, replacement or failure, communication outages or similar reasons, and announces scheduled maintenance in advance.
  3. If the Paid Service is discontinued or ended, the Company gives 30 days' notice and, where a paid period remains, takes steps so that members are not disadvantaged, such as guiding them through the respective Store's refund procedure for the remaining period.

Article 11 (Limitation of liability)

  1. The free plan is provided as is. The Company does not warrant that the free plan is fit for a particular purpose or will be provided without interruption.
  2. To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable in the following cases:
    • inability to provide the Service due to causes beyond the Company's control, such as natural disasters, war or communication outages;
    • failures of external services such as the Stores or hosting, database or AI providers;
    • damage arising from causes attributable to the member, such as careless account management or a breach of these Terms;
    • the content, reliability or safety of external web pages that saved links point to;
    • disputes over content between members, or between a member and a third party.
  3. Paragraphs 1 and 2 do not apply to damage caused by the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence, and do not limit consumers' rights under applicable law, including the Framework Act on Consumers.

Article 12 (Dispute resolution and jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms and use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. The Company receives and handles members' legitimate opinions and complaints through the contact details in Article 13. If handling takes time, the Company informs the member of the reason and the schedule.
  3. A member who is a consumer may apply for mediation of a dispute with the Company to bodies such as the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Document and Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee. Members living outside the Republic of Korea also have the rights given by the consumer protection laws of their country of residence.
  4. Lawsuits between the Company and a member are brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.

Article 13 (Business information and effective date)

  1. The business providing this Service is:
